SIRO Online - September 22nd & 23rd
The Safe Ice Resurfacer Operation (SIRO) course is a cost-effective method for skating facilities to provide initial, standardized education to new and novice staff, that are required to operate their ice resurfacers.
SIRO introduces workers to the ice resurfacer while enhancing the manufacturer's materials that arrived with the original purchase of the ice resurfacer. Safety is the main topic in the SIRO program and should be the top priority when educating staff for the ice resurfacer operation.

*Participants must be 18 years old or older
Participants will need the following for this online course:
- An internet connection - broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)
- Speakers and a microphone - built in or USB plug in or wireless Bluetooth
- A webcam or HD webcam - built in or USB plug in
This online course meets:
Wednesday, September 22nd 4:00pm - 6:30pm Eastern Time
Thursday, September 23rd, 4:00pm - 6:30pm Eastern Time
*Participants must attend both sessions (Wednesday & Thursday) in order to successfully
complete this course, in addition to completing all assigned in-class
group activities, homework assignments, daily quizzes and the final
exam.
