The Ammonia Safety & Training Institute is dedicated to making ammonia the safest managed hazardous material in the world.  This 24-hour ammonia awareness and emergency response course, presented by the Ammonia Safety & Training Institute, focuses on understanding the hazards, risks and threats that ammonia presents. focuses on understanding the hazards, risks and threats that ammonia presents.  Students will learn the differences between an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and an Emergency Action Plan (EAP); how to determine the proper level of PPE's and the limits of their engagement.  Students will gain the knowledge to judge an emergency event, as well as develop site specific emergency plans.
