The U.S. Ice Rink Association (Formerly STAR) is a non-profit national membership organization for individuals, facilities and vendors in the ice rink and arena industry. Formed in 2000 through a joint venture between U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey with the intent of servicing the needs of ice skating facilities and their employees in the United States.
Regardless of the number of skaters out on the ice, how many times would you resurface during a 3-hour public skate? Do you communicate a resurface time to the public so they know when they come in that they'll only have 10 minutes to skate before the resurface?
