MEMBER QUESTION OF THE WEEK:

How do other rinks handle paying employees when they take training courses?  We're paying the fees for a CPR and First Aid course, (about $120) but one of my managers wants me to pay them their hourly rate too.  Having this certification is a job requirement, should I pay them hourly too?
